Cherry Tree advises Gelco Trade Management in its sale to Adesso

Adesso Solutions and Gelco Trade Management , both best-in-class Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solution providers, have agreed to combine like businesses to create the strongest, most-comprehensive TPM resource for the CPG industry.

Adesso Solutions and Gelco both serve CPG manufacturers in a variety of industries including food, beverages, candy, confection, and others. Their clients demand accurate and timely information to support effective trade promotion management and compliance. Together, the new entity will dominate the TPM market by serving the most extensive client list in the industry with real-time, synergistic solutions that drive down the costs of doing business.

The merger will create a staff of 50 professionals and more than 150 customers. Adesso Solutions President and CEO, Tim Vollman, will remain in control of the new business unit and lead the melding of the two companies, marketed under the Adesso Solutions brand.
